Coronado tax preparation firm seeking a tax preparer to prepare 1040 tax returns, help clients with tax planning, and correspond with the IRS. Minimum requirements: three years of experience preparing tax returns, an EA or CPA designation, and (preferably) familiarity with Lacerte software.
The ideal candidate has good communication skills and experience working with affluent clients (typically having extensive brokerage statements, rentals, and small businesses). The candidate must have knowledge of advanced tax preparation concepts, knowledge of legislation, willingness to research issues as required, and be detail oriented while performing in a fast-paced environment.
We are offering commission-based pay with available billing increases each year. Estimated pay in the first year is approximately $60,000-$80,000 (with estimated $10,000+ increases in future years).
