Comments from past students...
"Using your course, I passed all 3 parts within 9 days!"
“Your little tips and tricks and ways of explaining things (stories) were really good. And it was fun!”
“It was your enthusiasm, thoroughness and caring teaching style that really helped me pass the test.”
“Couldn’t have done it without you. And I keep reminding classmates to use those tactics. They work!!!”
You don't have to spend hundreds of hours studying to pass!
Get the confidence you need to do it!
Candidates taking an exam between May 1 and approx August 1, 2021 will NOT receive their test results or a score report immediately upon completion of the exam. During this period, data will be collected and analyzed to establish the passing score based on new test specs.
The IRS surveyed thousands of EAs and made changes to the subjects tested on the exam to make it more accurately reflect the skills and knowledge necessary to be an EA. These changes are reflected in our 2021 course.
We believe the best way to pass the exam is to study intensively for a couple days, then immediately take the exam, and if you don't pass take it again within a few days. This strategy only works if you receive your exam results immediately. As a result, we recommend you not take any part of the exam until after August 1, 2021.
Focusing on one part at a time just makes sense!
Textbook will be shipped to you right away, so you can begin studying!
Class registration fee does NOT include fees to take the tests.
(You will pay direct to Prometric for test administration.)
We know that you need to make plans with confidence. That's why we are offering a
risk-free cancellation policy
with refunds being issued until 2 weeks before any event for which you are registered (less $150 cost of Fast Forward Academy book). If you wait until the last minute, you may change to the on-demand webinar, which is formatted just like our live classes, including access to the instructor so you can ask questions and get more explanation when needed. We want to help you earn the EA designation NOW!
To keep the registration cost as low as possible, no refreshments or meals are normally provided with these seminars.
This course was developed by Lisa Ihm, EA. She has been teaching the EA exam prep class for over 10 years, so she knows where people struggle, and has received lots of feedback from students about what works. She has used that feedback to refine the packet of sample questions to keep you focused on material most likely to be tested, and gives you concrete ways to cement that information into your brain.
Ryan became an EA after attending this training course, so he knows what you are going through. He is a dynamic speaker who presents information in a logical way that helps students retain what they've learned. He will make the class time interesting and give you the encouragement you need to know you can succeed!
Years of experience taking the test means we know what topics are most likely to be covered, and those are the topics we spend time on in the course. Focusing on the topics you are most likely to see on the test, and eliminating things that are rarely tested, allows you to spend your time learning information that really matters.
When is the last time you took a test? We do more than just teach the material that is likely to be on the test. We also teach you how to take the test! We walk you through hundreds of sample questions, and teach you how to get to the right answer, even if you're not sure what that is.
This course is designed to meet the requirements for 5 hours of federal tax law for Part 1, 5 hours of federal tax law for Part 2, and 2 hours of Ethics for Part 3 for CRTPs and tax return preparers. We have entered into an agreement with the Office of the Director of Practice, Internal Revenue Service, to meet the requirements of 31 Code of Federal Regulations, Section 10.6(g), covering maintenance of attendance records, retention of program outlines, qualifications of instructors, and length of class hours. This agreement does not constitute an endorsement by the Director of Practice as to the quality of the program or its contribution to the professional competence of the attendee.
