Who is this update for?

Tax preparers (CRTPs, EAs, and CPAs) who file 2026 returns and need to be current on the year’s law changes, court cases, and updated forms. It’s an intermediate-level course with no prerequisites; field of study is Taxes.

How many CPE credits do I earn?

Eight. The seminar is designed to meet continuing education requirements for EAs, CRTPs, and CPAs. IRS, CTEC, and NASBA course numbers are listed below.

What materials do I receive?

A 400+ page printed manual, plus two free quick-reference cards: FAST FACTS and CA Nonconformity. In-person registration also includes continental breakfast, lunch, and free parking.

Is there a self-study option?

Yes. A self-study version is available for preparers who can’t attend in person (IRS self-study course number listed below).

What time does the day run?

Registration and check-in open at 7:30 AM. Class runs from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Can I switch to on-demand if something comes up?

Yes. If you switch at least 10 business days before your event, a $20 processing fee applies and the price difference is refunded. Inside 10 business days, the price difference isn’t refunded.
